Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
Overview
A Registered Nurse – CCU travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position starts on 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,133–$2,172 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), totaling 36 hours per week with potential for 48 hours. Setting: hospital-based critical care unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in CCU, including monitoring of respiratory status, hemodynamics, and neurological status
- Manage ventilated patients and ICP monitoring as part of neurocritical care responsibilities
- Administer medications, titrate IV therapies, and respond to urgent changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to implement and adjust care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (Meditech Expanse) and ensure accurate, timely charting
- Maintain safety standards, participate in round discussions, and contribute to rapid response and emergent event management
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license – active; Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with profile
- 2 years current Critical Care/CCU experience
- Willingness to float to PCU as needed
- Ventilation management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS; NIHSS required
- TNCC preferred; BSN preferred
- Permanent address uploaded and traveler has own vehicle
