Responsibilities

• Administering radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed medical professional.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
• Adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
• Documenting patient treatments accurately and maintaining records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Iowa.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
