About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 12-week position starting immediately in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a physician
- Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment sessions
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in North Carolina
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
Skills
- Proficient in computer software used in radiation therapy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
