About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a position in Monticello, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats outpatient orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic patients
- Utilizes a range of therapeutic equipment including gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and specialty beds
- Works 2 of 3 major holidays
- Utilizes a range of therapeutic equipment including gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and specialty beds
- Treats a variety of populations including orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurologic conditions
- Utilizes modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, iontophoresis, moist heat, and ultrasound
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required
- BLS certification required
- Manual Therapy certification preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Licenses required if applicable
- Experience with adaptive equipment, gait training, and wheelchair assessments
- Skilled in documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries
- Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education
- 2 supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Qualifications

Skills
- Manual Therapy certification preferred
- Cerner charting experience preferred

- Skilled in documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
