About the Role
This is a travel contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The role involves providing direct patient care with a full caseload covering a variety of diagnoses.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday to Friday
- Flexible scheduling within the specified hours
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients based on their needs.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in patient education and counseling.
- Float to different departments or affiliate hospitals as necessary.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous nursing experience (preferred).
- Flu vaccination required (exemptions for medical or religious reasons only).
