Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience:
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or an interim RN license, or compact RN licensure.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs.
- Review patient history, diagnostics, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and revise patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and standards of care.
- Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Evaluate patient progress and response to care, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, education, and role development within the facility.

This role may involve supervising staff and workflow, interacting with patients, families, and a multi-disciplinary team to support high-quality patient outcomes. The position requires adherence to organizational policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
