Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a night shift position. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within a clinical setting. The position requires utilizing professional nursing standards, clinical judgment, and specialized knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, compliance, and positive patient outcomes.
Schedule
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and revise individualized care plans
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid RN license in state of practice or eligible for licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Relevant clinical experience in acute care settings
- Experience in the PCU setting (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
- Professional certification related to acute or progressive care nursing (preferred)
