Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Phoenix, AZ. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring documentation compliance.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice;
- BLS certification;
- At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing;
- Professional certification related to cardiovascular, telemetry, or progressive care.
Additional Information
- The RN will perform clinical duties including patient assessment, care planning, execution, and documentation.
- This role requires physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds, as well as excellent communication skills.
- The position involves working in a direct patient care environment with exposure to blood and bodily fluids, necessitating adherence to standard precautions.
