Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is available in Sun City, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification is a plus
Additional Information
The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, formulate and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care activities, and provide education to patients and their families. The RN may supervise licensed and non-licensed staff and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. The position requires physical agility, effective communication, and the ability to respond promptly to clinical needs.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
