Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility in Sun City, Arizona. Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or an active compact RN license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which the candidate is applying is desired.
• Clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area must be maintained through annual validations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Professional certification and additional related education/experience are recommended.

Additional Information

• Position involves direct patient care in a progressive care setting, including patient assessment, care planning, and documentation according to organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• The RN will participate in interdisciplinary team activities, promote patient safety, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• This role may require the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, respond quickly to patient needs, and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
