Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $2,095 per week

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a specialized unit, ensuring adherence to nursing care plans, and supervising healthcare team members. The RN will contribute to patient safety and support the organization’s commitment to delivering superior healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
• Assess patients within 8 hours of admission, participate in rehabilitation programs, and initiate discharge planning.
• Perform nursing assessments, document patient status promptly and accurately, and participate in team activities to create a positive work environment.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, and assume charge responsibility following orientation as requested.
• Identify opportunities for professional growth through continuing education and self-study.

Requirements

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum two years bedside clinical experience.
• ICU experience.

Schedule

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
