Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Michigan state license
• One year of nursing experience
• Oncology course completion or certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology experience
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion
• OCN certification

Additional Information

On the unit, staff are required to complete the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy. After completing a unit-based oncology course and orientation, staff can administer non-vesicant chemotherapy. Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions are generally not assigned to travelers unless qualifications are met.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
