Travel Progressive Care Unit RN - $1,945 per week

Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Clyde, North Carolina. The role involves providing specialized patient care for adult populations with cardiac and telemetry needs, utilizing telemetry equipment and following established clinical protocols. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with a focus on cardiac observation and post-procedural care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care for adult populations with cardiac and telemetry needs
• Utilize telemetry equipment and follow established clinical protocols
• Care for cardiac observation, post-cardiac cath lab patients, and adult cardiac patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in step-down or ICU settings
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Current practice in an adult patient population

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac telemetry
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Experience with cardioversions

Schedule

• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026

Unit Details

• 22 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1
• Equipment includes telemetry monitors
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
• Float rotation may be required
