Job Details

Required Experience and Skills

  • 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are acceptable
  • Experience with PCU Ratios (1:5)
  • Cardiac Telemetry experience required
  • Management and Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management
  • Titrating drips
  • EPIC experience required
  • BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes
  • Emerson/PleurEvac, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/EKG test

Preferred Experience

  • Previous Charge Experience

Certifications Required

  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Mandatory Examinations

  • All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Licensure

  • Active license must be in hand at submission

Compliance and Verification

  • Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
  • No open background check cases permitted
  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted; current driver's license required to verify address

Vaccination Requirements

  • Covid-19 Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)
  • Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)

Floating and Scheduling Details

  • Travelers may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed
  • Schedule: Days 7a-730p, 3x12s with weekend and holiday rotation
  • No Call
  • Floating required as needed

Modules

  • Modules are non-billable, average 2-4 hours, completed during orientation. Module hours are unit based and may vary.
