Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse - $2,020 per week
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a position in the Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry, management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, and peripheral line care and management. The role requires proficiency in titrating drips and managing complex patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
- Administer and manage medications, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Perform EKG interpretations and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Cook up with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or telemetry unit.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and PCU ratios (1:5).
- Proficient in using the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Day Shift: 3 x 12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with weekend and holiday rotation.
