Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics initiatives end to end, ensuring data accuracy, metric clarity, and actionable reporting.
  • Define KPIs, establish performance baselines, and analyze trends to assess business health and impact of change.
  • Deliver complex, high impact analyses that identify performance drivers, risks, and revenue opportunities to influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, models, and automated reporting to support self-service analytics and proactive performance monitoring.
  • Translate data into clear, compelling insights and narratives for senior leaders.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing, Digital Optimization, Technology) to solve complex, ambiguous business problems.
  • Utilize SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau to analyze large, multi-source datasets.
  • Develop analytical models supporting data science, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams on enterprise initiatives to improve data quality, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and recommend improvements to drive revenue performance and Travel Products objectives.

Requirements

The position requires advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:

  • Data retrieval: Extracting, manipulating, and organizing raw data.
  • Data analytics: Analyzing raw data to make conclusions and draw actionable insights.
  • Data visualization: Displaying data in a concise and easily digestible format.
  • Data visualization tools, relational database programming tools and web analytics tools.
  • Presenting and communicating analysis regularly in a variety of audiences, including senior executives.
  • Solving ambiguous and complex problems through a systems-thinking approach.
  • Applying data analytics techniques to deepen customer understanding or improve marketing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
  • Proficient in data visualization, relational databases, and web analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical reasoning to evaluate options and identify optimal solutions.
  • Expertise in transforming raw data into actionable insights using data-oriented programming and visualization tools.
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VBA, lookups, charting) and PowerPoint skills for analysis and executive communication.
  • Ability to build scalable, automated analytics processes and enterprise level reporting.
  • Experience mining, cleansing, and analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover interdependencies and insights.
  • Proven ability to translate analytics into strategic recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including clear, structured storytelling for senior leadership.
