About the role
gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers of all sizes across Google’s entire Ad products stack. We help customers maximize the value of our Ad and Publisher products, providing guidance and support through self-help resources, in-product assistance, direct interactions, account setup, ad campaign implementation, and media solutions tailored to business and marketing needs. We also deliver complex technical and measurement solutions alongside consultative support for large customers. These solutions range from bespoke, customized offerings to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide.
Based on evolving customer needs, we partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to develop improved solutions, tools, and services that enhance our products and client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure customers achieve the best return on investment with Google and maintain us as a trusted partner.
The gTech Ads Customer Experience organization is a customer-centric, solution-generating team that helps advertisers and sales teams fully leverage Google’s products. In this role, you will apply product knowledge to provide high-quality customer support and solutioning, manage troubleshooting tasks, and use problem-solving skills to proactively detect and resolve issues. You may also liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address customer questions and concerns.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshooting and resolving issues for Google’s advertisers, Sales teams, agencies, and partners.
- Solve complex technical customer issues and escalations, and carry out projects.
- Analyze data and insights to create action plans addressing root causes for top customers, focusing on knowledge management, operational improvements, account reviews, and product adoption.
- Partner with Sales and other cross-functional teams to own and continuously improve the client journey, resolve complex issues, and understand customer pain points.
- Share insights and provide expertise to partner teams to support product and process improvements.
- Drive team culture and success among a globally dispersed team, demonstrating mentorship and leadership.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a technical project management or customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
- Experience in account or campaign management roles, technical troubleshooting, or customer support, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Google Ads products.
- Ability to own end-to-end experiences and solutions.
Pay
Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US-based roles: $114,000 - $163,000 (USD) plus 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
