Travel, Procure-to-Pay and Concur ProCard Analyst - College of Liberal Arts
About the role
The incumbent independently administers and analyzes college-wide travel, procure-to-pay, and Concur ProCard operations for the College of Liberal Arts. This position is responsible for interpreting and applying complex CSU, university and auxiliary policies; evaluating operational and financial processes; developing and implementing procedural improvements; monitoring compliance and fiscal activity; conducting analysis and reporting; and serving as a primary resource to departments regarding travel and procurement operations.
Responsibilities
- Interprets and applies CSU, university, and auxiliary policies to ensure compliance with travel and procurement operations.
- Evaluates operational and financial processes to identify areas for improvement and implement procedural changes.
- Maintains compliance with fiscal activity and conducts regular analysis and reporting.
- Serves as a primary resource to departments regarding travel and procurement operations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborates with campus partners to provide guidance and training on financial operations, purchasing procedures, and travel administration systems.
- Works independently to resolve operational and procedural issues, identify compliance risks, recommend process improvements, and support effective fiscal administration across the college.
Requirements
This position requires a demonstrated ability to present a professional demeanor on a consistent basis both in person and by telephone, with a variety of campus and community individuals. Requires strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to use reasoning and judgment to develop practical, thorough, and creative solutions.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university.
- One year of technical or administrative experience.
- A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
