Tasks
- Collaborate to deliver components of client engagements following peer review.
- Provide business analysis expertise including the development, implementation, and tracking of performance metrics, trend analysis, analysis of user feedback, and formulating recommendations for improvements to implementation and change management strategies and processes.
- Provide experience to assist with the development of government and/or commercial travel programs with the ability to draft comprehensive project plans, project charters, and or project/scope documents outlining the work to be performed, roles and responsibilities, and timelines with considerations for uncertainties and risk.
- Aid with the review of existing commercial travel programs and processes; collect data, review for errors or inconsistencies, standardize, and report on collected data, provide support to enable the DTMO to manage commercial travel data and travel related applications including support for the Recruit Travel and Assistance Program.
- Provide commercial travel industry subject matter expertise and knowledge of Government or commercial travel programs including managing movements of groups by rail, bus, and air; providing Global Distribution System(s) support online booking tool support; and providing support to assist the Government Air Program, US Rental Car and Truck programs, and DoD Bus Programs.
- Provide assistance with commercial travel card concepts and processes to include Centrally Billed Account reconciliation processes and procedures.
- Review and/or make recommendations for program training materials for accuracy and currency and assist in the development of briefing materials for Government presentations to DTMO stakeholders.
- Work with SQL queries in Oracle and MS SQL environment, and experience with data tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, PL/SQL or Toad.
- Assist with development of tableau data sets, dashboards, and reports in tableau, to include assistance with commercial travel data.
- Provide assistance with all aspects of Federal and DoD Travel regulations and processes, and an in-depth understanding of the inter-related aspects of DTMO’s customer base.
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of federal and DoD travel processes, guidance, and directives, including all applicable laws and regulations, as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of overall experience
- 5+ years of DoD Travel experience
- Secret Clearance
Preferred
- Organization and comfort in balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations.
- Experience with Agile project management concepts and processes and change management strategy and concepts.
- ISO 9001 Training to be completed by employee after onboarding.
