Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem

Key Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Guide and assist patients during exercises and transfers
• Monitor and report patient progress to therapists
• Record treatment details and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety
• Cookordinate with healthcare team for comprehensive care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Participate in professional development and discharge planning

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid PTA license and current BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient movements
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic PC skills
• Ability to work effectively under supervision and handle physical and sensory demands
