Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.
• Set up therapy areas, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, document sessions, and educate patients and caregivers on home programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, maintain a safe environment, and support discharge planning.
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid PTA license and current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and handle varying activity levels
