• Beds: Census 25, Average per day per therapist is 7-8
• Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years, will accept acute care, SNF, LTC, rehab, etc.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses

• COPD, CHF, hip fracture, total joints (hips/knees), CABG, Stroke, Parkinson's, Medically Complex, debility, resp failure, spinal and abdominal surgeries
• Mostly geriatric

Required License, National Certification, Certs

• BLS, State PTA license
• Associates degree or above

Skills Required

• Transfer training, gait training, home management, discharge planning, thorough documentation, team collaboration, clinical judgement regarding medical situations, therapeutic exercise

Support Within the Department

• CNAs on the floor
• HUC
• Charge RN for the floor
• Phlebotomy at the hospital
• RT 24/7
• Hospitalist 24/7, but floor is managed by NP from 1700-0700
• Remote telemetry techs at main Floyd Campus
