About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Tyler, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care, including but not limited to, performing exercises, monitoring progress, and documenting patient data.
- Ensure all patient interactions are conducted in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
