About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Charleston, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA)
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
