About the role
Travel Physical Therapist, responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
- Bill within facility guidelines and ensure compliance with state PT board regulations
- Collaborate with medical personnel to develop team-focused care plans
- Evaluate patients, modify plans as needed, and utilize adaptive equipment
- Perform documentation accurately following guidelines
- Understand and operate medical systems and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred, new grads encouraged to apply
- Current state licensing and BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
