About the role

The Travel Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff
• Perform billing and ensure compliance with facility and state regulations
• Collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify treatment plans
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment and medical systems
• Provide accurate documentation per guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply
• Current BLS certification and state-specific licensure
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
