Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $1,980 per week
About the role
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, starting 11/09/2026. This is a full‑time travel position (40 hours per week) providing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services, including patient evaluation, individualized treatment planning, therapy implementation, and progress monitoring. The role supports functional recovery, patient education, clinical documentation, and coordination of therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
- Provides discipline‑specific therapy services and creates functional treatment programs.
- Educates patients and families.
- Maintains clear, accurate, and timely medical record documentation.
- Ensures care is provided under valid physician orders and in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, clinical policies, and safety procedures.
- Participates in student education when assigned.
- Maintains professional licensure and required continuing education.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Schedule
Day shifts consisting of 8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, or 10‑hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
