About the role
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise PTAs and support staff, ensuring team collaboration.
- Bill accurately within facility and insurance guidelines.
- Comply with state-specific PT regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical personnel to coordinate patient care.
- Assess patient needs, create, and modify plans of care accordingly.
- Utilize medical systems for documentation and daily tasks.
- Provide timely, accurate documentation per guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Current BLS certification and state-specific license.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.
- Understanding of adaptive equipment and medical procedures.
