Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Home Health located in Maryland. This role involves performing patient evaluations and providing therapeutic services according to physicians' orders, including home visits within the designated geographic region. Candidates are required to bring their current license on the first day of employment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic home health setting, supporting patient recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and provide therapeutic services according to physicians' orders
• Conduct home visits within Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties (approximately 200 miles weekly)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent
• Current and unencumbered Maryland physical therapy license
• 0-3 years of physical therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Familiarity with general computer functions including internet, email, program navigation, and online HR services
• Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home health settings
• Ability to self-manage online training programs

Skills

• Proficiency with Pointcare HCHB EMR system
