Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Execute physician-prescribed treatments involving ventilatory equipment, oxygen therapy, nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and monitoring
- Perform routine chest x-ray review, arterial puncture, 12-Lead EKG, and pulmonary function studies
- Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement
- Maintain respiratory equipment
- Record treatment responses and communicate with physicians regarding patient therapy
Requirements
- Current respiratory therapy certification
- Current license to practice as a respiratory therapist
- Relevant training in pediatric respiratory care
Schedule
Days shift, 12 hours daily, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
