Travel PCU Stepdown RN

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown RN to provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care. This role requires close monitoring and interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and administer medications
• Prepare and manage medical equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Assess patient conditions and document care thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and post-care instructions

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Stepdown or critical care experience as an RN
• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
