About the role
We are seeking an experienced Stepdown RN to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications
- Prepare equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Critical thinking and excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina and proficiency in technical and motor skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS.
