About the Role
Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments
- Assist with cardiac procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document assessments and patient responses
- Educate patients on cardiac health
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform required tasks
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
Key Duties
- Provide attentive, specialized cardiac care

- Maintain accurate documentation
- Promote patient education
