Travel PCU RN - $1,934 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiology Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care to those with cardiac conditions, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, and other cardiac conditions.
• Administer titratable cardiac IV medications and manage patients post cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and response to treatments while adhering to established protocols.
• Participate in bedside cardioversion procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid RN license with stepdown or progressive care experience.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Experience with titratable cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, and insulin drips.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• PREFERRED: Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) and relief charge experience.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
