About the role
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and performing various medical procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform neuro and spinal checks.
- Aid in the placement of C-Collars and TLSO braces.
- Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, and IV infusions.
- Handle lumbar drain and feeding tube placements.
- Administer blood transfusions as required.
Requirements
- Must have ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care is required.
Qualifications
Must have a current RN license in good standing.
