About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in step down and med surg care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in step down and medical-surgical settings.
• Perform typical procedures, including trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) - Cerner - for charting and patient documentation.
• Maintain a high level of clinical competence and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Experience working with trachs is essential.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12 hours, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
