About the role
PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Pathology Assistant for a 26-week assignment in Urbana, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory procedures under supervision
- Prepare specimens for testing
- Label and organize laboratory equipment and supplies
- Assist with specimen collection and processing
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized training program in pathology or related field
- Current certification as a Pathology Assistant from a recognized organization
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory techniques
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
