Travel Pathologist Assistant - $3,366 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Pathology Assistant for a 26-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Urbana, Illinois. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of professionalism during stressful times
• Perform routine laboratory procedures under supervision
• Assist in specimen collection, processing, and storage
• Prepare specimens for examination
• Document findings accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience as a Pathology Assistant preferred
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice, if applicable
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of professionalism during stressful times
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background and drug screen

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
