Responsibilities
- Perform specimen processing and preparation
- Assist with specimen collection and transport
- Support diagnostic testing and analysis
Requirements
- Current certification as a Pathologists' Assistant
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
- Passing score on the National Licensure Examination for Physician Assistants (NPTE)
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Knowledge of pathology techniques and procedures
