Travel PACU RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PACU RN for a travel assignment in Salem, Massachusetts. The role involves delivering specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, including assessing post-operative conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The PACU RN collaborates with surgical teams, develops discharge plans, operates PACU equipment, and responds to emergencies following clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-operative conditions of patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
• Monitor vital signs and administer treatments
• Ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• At least one year of recent PACU experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

PALS or ENPC certifications are preferred.
