Travel PACU RN

Role & Responsibilities Provides specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Key duties include assessing patient recovery, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, documenting conditions, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge or transfer. Operates PACU equipment, develops patient education plans, and participates in handoff communications to maintain continuity of care. Qualifications & Skills Requires at least one year of recent PACU RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or ENPC preferred. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and handle physical demands is essential.
