Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,620 per week

About the role

The healthcare professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will provide pre and post-operative patient care in a facility setting. This role involves working day shifts with a schedule of 8-hour shifts between 06:00 and 19:30, with an expected weekly workload of 40 hours. The position requires compliance with ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification and proficiency in UI EKG interpretation. Start date: October 12, 2026; anticipated end date: January 11, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post-operative patient care
• Perform patient assessments
• Monitor vital signs
• Manage post-operative recovery

• Adapt to schedule flexibility and potential shift extensions based on patient care needs

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• Proficiency in UI EKG interpretation
• Current state licensure suitable for Iowa
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• No minimum experience requirement
• Located within the facility's service area
• Relevant educational background

Qualifications

• Experience in post anesthesia patient care (preferred)
• Additional certifications in perioperative nursing or related fields (preferred)
