About the role
OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures
- Document patient care activities and communicate with healthcare team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in PACU preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols
