Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,115 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse for an assignment located in York, Maine. This full-time position involves working four 9-hour day shifts per week, including weekend call rotation. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care or critical care environment.

Schedule

• Days, 4 - 9 hour shifts during the day plus weekend call rotation, minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in post-anesthesia and perioperative care protocols
• Manage patient recovery and monitor vital signs effectively during the immediate post-operative period
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid registered nurse license
• At least two years of experience in an acute care or critical care unit (such as ambulatory surgery unit or post-anesthesia care unit)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior PACU experience preferred
