Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse. The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join the team on a day shift. This role involves providing post-operative patient care in a fast-paced, outpatient environment, ensuring optimal recovery and safety of patients following surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative patient care in a fast-paced, outpatient environment
• Ensure optimal recovery and safety of patients following surgical procedures
• Work with a small team in a department handling Orthopedic, Spine, and Sports Medicine procedures including total joint replacements, spine surgeries, and pain management
• Demonstrate professionalism, self-motivation, organized communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• 0 years of experience required
• Flexible schedule with shifts typically from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rotating shifts and some call responsibilities
• No visible tattoos or facial piercings allowed

Schedule

• Day shifts, 10-hour shifts
• Minimum 40 hours per week
