Travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,486 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract at a community hospital outpatient setting in South Hill, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting
• Treat patients with a variety of conditions under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately

Requirements

• Current OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient OT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
• NURSYS or applicable license verification required for consideration
• Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 6 months

Qualifications

• Must not have smoked in the past year
• Must not have used illegal drugs in the past year

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
