About the role
Occupational therapists evaluate and treat people who have injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. They help clients meet goals to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with various conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Colorado
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Passing score on the national certification exam
- Experience with outpatient settings preferred
