Travel Outpatient Occupational Therapist - $2,546 per week

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team, focusing on an outpatient pediatric population. This role involves providing therapeutic interventions that support the development and rehabilitation of infants, children, and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Congduct thorough evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Utilize standardized assessments and developmental testing/treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy activities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric therapy, with direct involvement in outpatient care.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in acute care and long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge in developmental disorders and therapeutic techniques specific to pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Alaska.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using occupational therapy software and equipment.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
