Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an orthopedics assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina.
About the Role
This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 14, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour day shifts. The role requires flexibility to float to any Cone Health campus as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic and trauma nursing care
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and chest tubes
- Interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias
- Utilize rapid response and code teams
- Document in the EPIC charting system
- Complete orientation modules and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic and trauma experience
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Community hospital and trauma level I or II experience preferred
- Travel experience required
- Active RN license (must be in hand at submission)
- BLS certification (required); ACLS (preferred)
- Current driver’s license to verify address
- Pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- No open cases on background check
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Third-party education verification is required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted.
