ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks (with opportunities extending up to February 27, 2027). Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, days. Employment Type: Travel. The role is on the Orthopedic and Neuro Spine unit, requiring a skilled nurse to manage post‑surgical orthopedic and neuro spine patients, focusing on pain management and recovery. Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15, with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and neuro spine patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage pain management protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient conditions and care in the Epic charting system.
• Assist in emergency response situations as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic or related nursing environment.
• Must have experience with pain management for orthopedic patients.
• Current BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Valid RN license (NC or Compact) required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule: Day 3×12‑hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15 are available. Must be available to work every other weekend.
